Three professors named Fellows of the Canadian Engineering Education Association

Jason Bazylak, Alan Chong and Deborah Tihanyi of the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering have been inducted as Fellows of the Canadian Engineering Education Association (CEEA-ACEG)

The honour recognizes noteworthy service to engineering education, engineering leadership or engineering design education. They join four other U of T Engineering professors who were inducted as CEEA Fellows in 2020

Bazylak, a professor in the department of mechanical and industrial engineering, has been involved with the CEEA from its earliest stages, beginning with its genesis in the Canadian Design Engineering Network (CDEN).

“As a very junior engineering educator, I got to learn from pioneers in the field of engineering education,” he says. “To now be counted as a Fellow of the association along with these pioneers humbles me, but also motivates me to continue to strive to contribute to the field.”
