Kristen Duke recognized by Poets&Quants

Kristen Duke, an assistant professor of marketing at the Rotman School of Management, has been named among the "Best 40 Under 40 MBA Professors" for 2025 by Poets&Quants.

The annual honours evaluate nominees on teaching and research, which are weighted at 70 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.

Duke, who teaches the Marketing and Behavioural Economics course in both the Rotman MBA and Rotman Commerce programs, was recognized for her efforts in making learning accessible and fun.

“In teaching this class, Kristen highlights that while this is a marketing course, its principles reach far and wide into multiple areas of business, touching on human resources, corporate culture, change management, ethics and policy, consumer welfare, as well as marketing,” said Dilip Soman, professor and Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Science and Economics at the Rotman School.

“Each year, Kristen goes out of her way to ensure the course has new and relevant content to bring its principles and concepts to life."
