U of T Mississauga's Sustainability Office recognized by Schneider Electric

The University of Toronto Mississauga's Sustainability Office has been recognized with a Sustainability Impact Award by Schneider Electric. 

The annual awards celebrate outstanding achievements in efficiency, innovation, and digitalization. U of T Mississauga was recognized for its leadership in campus sustainability within the higher education sector. 

“At the University of Toronto Mississauga, we believe in leading by example,” said Ahmed Azhari, U of T Mississauga's managing director of operations, sustainability and asset management.

"Our Sustainability Office is so proud of our contributions to U of T’s recognition as the world’s most sustainable university and the measurable progress we’re making in campus sustainability by cutting emissions, investing in renewable energy and embracing smart building technologies.

"We are deeply committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2043 and becoming climate positive by 2050."
