PhD student Fahima Dossa wins Royal Society's Alice Wilson Medal

Fahima Dossa, a PhD student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health who is also in the University of Toronto's surgeon scientist training program, is one of three women being honoured with this year's Alice Wilson Medal from the Royal Society of Canada.

Named after the first woman elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 1938, the medal recognizes women with outstanding academic qualifications who are entering a career in scholarship or research at the post-doctoral level.
