Congratulations to U of T communications teams that have received the following awards: 

  • Student Communications at the Faculty of Arts & Science received a CASE district 2 accolades award honourable mention (specialty and promotional items) for the welcome card for accepted students. The team also won the Bronze CASE district 2 accolades award (creativity on a shoestring) for the admissions business process review videos.   
  • U of T Communications Media Relations team received the Silver (top standing in the category) CASE district 2 accolades award (Institutional Media Relations program) for “breaking news experts”: A daily list of U of T experts for news desks.
  • The Engineering Strategic Communications team received a Bronze CASE district 2 accolades award (individual special public relations projects) for #EveryDropMatters Activation at the Canadian National Exhibition
  • Engineering Outreach with the Engineering Strategic Communications team also received an Award of Excellence IABC Silver Leaf (special events, external) for Innovate U.

  • The Faculty of Law’s Advancement team received the Bronze CASE district 2 accolades award (publications design, multi-page) for Nexus Magazine. The magazine also received an honourable mention under the Magazines category.

  • The Munk School of Global Affairs’ Public Affairs and Communications team received the Gold MarCom Award (web design) from the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals for the site redesign of the Lionel Gelber Prize
  • U of T Mississauga received an honourable mention from CASE district 2 accolades award (magazines) for its 2017 spring issue of M Magazine
  • U of T Scarborough Communications & Public Affairs team received the Bronze CASE district 2 accolades award (Magazines) for UTSC Commons, the Silver CASE District 2 accolades award for general news writing and a CASE District 2 accolades (presidential/ annual reports) honourable mention for UTSC by the Numbers
  • Enrolment Services at the Office of Student Recruitment & Housing Services received the Gold (digital media – web video) MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals for the U of T residences videos.
  • The HR&E Communications team received the Gold award (digital marketing/ social campaign)  from the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals for the @WorkingAtUofT Twitter account
