Convocation 2014: best social media moments (week two)

Selfies with parents and profs, "mandatory" jumping shots and yes, a grad-prosal
More than 12,500 undergraduate and graduate students will cross the stage at Convocation Hall this month to become the University of Toronto's newest alumni.

And they're sharing the moment with family, friends, mentors and classmates – not only in person but through Twitter and Instagram.(Follow U of T on Instagram.)

You can check out the Social Wall in Convocation Plaza – a stream of content from Twitter and Instagram that pulls from posts tagged #UofTGrad14 or #UofT – that will be projected on one of the screens.

But if you can't make it to the big white tent in Kings College Circle, just scroll down; U of T's marketing and online communications coordinator, Kristina Doyle, shares some of the social media highlights so far for one of the University's biggest celebrations of the year. (See her picks from the first week.)
