VICE-PRESIDENT INTERNAL

Greg West
PhD Candidate - Psychology

vpinternal.gsu@utoronto.ca

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am happy to be returning to the GSU executive for a second year and to be serving as the Vice-President Internal for the 2008-09 academic year.

A number of my primary responsibilities will focus on issues surrounding academics and funding. Issues of particular importance to me are those surrounding the implementation of the minimum funding guarantee, the monitoring of graduate enrolment expansion, and the campaign to reinstate post-residency fees. In addition to this I will continue my involvement in efforts to increase outreach programming for GSU members.

It is important we work with course unions and individual members to accomplish common goals, so I encourage you to bring forward your own concerns and/or those of students in your home department, and to also get involved with the GSU's sub-committees.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
