I've been at UofT since about 1989. As a student, I started out working part-time  in Facilities & Services. Since then, I've done quite a number of different things at the universit:. I worked as an Advertising Manager, an Archivist, and a yearbook picture and layout designer for the Engineering Society. In 1994, I started working full time in the Systems Group sub-division of Facilities & Services. My duties included PC repair, front line support of PC problems, programming and program design, and administering  the Facilities & Services Novell Network. When Facilities & Services joined the CAST Team, I moved to join the Workgroup Technology Support team.

Responsibilities:

My current duties range from primary help desk functions to university wide network maintenance and design. I work primarily with PC implementations under Microsoft and Novell networks.  I work on special projects, on-going full contracts as well as the central Novell network. I still do some programming now and then. My personal mission statement is 'to make systems easy, reliable, efficient and more affective for the employees at the University of Toronto.'

Outside U of T:

My other hobbies include digital graphic design, martial arts (Karate, Aikido), music (I play guitar, keyboard, drums, trumpet), computers (of course), swimming (when the weather is good), snowboarding, and performing the impossible.
