Responsibilities
Terry's support work in WTS covers a broad range of technologies including operating systems (Windows, Netware, MacOS), applications (Office, Terminal Emulators, SAP), mainframes (ROSI, AMS) and a variety of other hardware and software. 

Activities at the University of Toronto
Working for U of T began in 1978 as a part time advisor helping staff and students with programming problems. Terry also worked summers in mainframe computer operations and then in 1980 started full time at Medical Computing doing both software and computer hardware work. in 1981 Terry moved to Computing and Networking Services (CNS), though over the years CNS has been known as the Computing Centre (UTCC) and Computing Services (UTCS). Over the years Terry has worked in operations, help desk, text and imaging, micro group and workgroup technology support. 

Other Activities
Terry enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, camping and skiing. He is active in Scouts Canada as a Cub Scout leader in the First Highland Creek pack. He is an avid downhill skier and enjoys racing. In the summer, camping and water skiing are his main interests. Terry is active in the Ontario Water Ski Association and organizes, competes in and judges at water ski competitions in Ontario and at the national level. Hardware design is another activity Terry enjoys and includes industrial control devices, data acquisition, instrumentation and other component level design, development and repair.
