Richard TL Sanford
Deployment Support Analyst
Workgroup Technology Support
Computing and Networking Services
255 Huron Street, Room 345
Toronto, Ontario

Responsibilities:
I am responsible for developing deployment strategies which are used within the university's environment. I also create software packages that can be download via the web. These software packages are both easy to use, and require minimal technical knowledge.

Work History:
I started with the University back in the year 1993, working for Trevor Wilkinson. I was to provide both software and hardware support for the Facilities and Services department, located in the 215 Huron Street. When I started, I was only putting in two days a week; by the end of the first year, I was putting in a good workweek.

In October of 1996, Tony Di Felice hired me to help support a large network located in Simcoe Hall. The network consisted of both Mac computers and PC computers.

In the winter of 2001, I was hired by David Sutherland to provide deployment solutions for the whole of the campus.

Skills:
I have a solid understanding of the architecture that can be found within many pc types.
I classify myself as an expert in the following computer languages; Assembler, Turbo Pascal, Basic, and Visual Basic.

Beyond Work:
When I am not in the office, you can find me playing one of my most favorite games. Which is Ultima Online. I have met several friends while playing this game. While on a trip to New York, I had meet two of them in person. I also like write modules for popular games, such as advanced dungeon and dragons. Since I love fantasy, I find this a great media to write for. Another one of my favorite things to do during my pastime is watch anime. Now you ask what is anime. Well anime is animation done in Japan. This type of animation is more suited for adults. As they tend to have more complex plotlines.
