Introduction

The effective use of information technology is a challenge in almost every aspect of university life. WTS supports University workgroups in meeting this challenge with a wide range of activities. Further information on these activities is available under the relevant menu selection.

Access to resources

The demand for technical support is enormous. WTS’s ability to support the university’s needs is constrained by staff availability. An important priority is to assist with the maintenance and enhancements to existing systems such as UTORnet, AMS and ROSI. Various work assignments are also undertaken at the request of the Director of CNS.

Another important area of work is core technology. WTS works in cooperation with other university system administrator and vendors to better utilize information technology.
