Accessing Posted Notices

WebNotice is a web-based system for distributing information about seminars, colloquia and other events posted by some U of T departments and units. The procedure for posting seminar notices is described elsewhere.

1. World Wide Web

All seminar notices are available at: http://www.utoronto.ca/reg/notices_main.pl

2. Electronic Mailing Lists (Listservs)

Many departments have a department-wide mailing list (e.g., LISTSERV). WebNotrice can send posted notices to this mailing list address automatically. This feature is particularly handy if a notice changes (i.e., is deleted or moved to new date) and you want to send notification to the mailing list.

3. Usenet Newsgroups

Event notices are posted to a related U of T Usenet newsgroup. Notices are posted upon submission to the WebNotice system.
