In the Innis Cafe: "1001 Nights of Storytelling." Every Friday night since 1978, storytellers and listeners have been gathering in downtown Toronto for an open evening of oral stories. The Toronto Silent Film Festival is at Innis Town Hall on April 4th and 6th. Screening on April 4th at 8pm is The Passion of Joan of Ark. This screening of The Passion of Joan of Arc will feature the world premiere of Tom Peter’s newly composed score, to be performed live by Peters and Joelle Morton, Artistic Director of Scaramella. The Toronto premiere of Crazy Wisdom is happening at Innis Town Hall on Friday April 12th. Doors open at 7pm. The film’s director, Johanna Demetrakas will be present to share her experiences of making the film after the screening. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
