This day-long event will examine the craft and technology of documentary editing through case study talks, interactive discussions, and panels. CINSSU and Fox Searchlight present a sneak preview of Hitchcock. This event is a special double bill and Psycho will be shown before the sneak preview. To mark the International Day to End Impunity, CJFE is hosting a screening of the film "A Bitter Taste of Freedom": a documentary about the life of murdered Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya on Thursday November 22nd at 6:30pm. We are pleased to announce that the film's director, Marina Goldovskaya, will be joining us for the evening. Marina will hold a Q&A after the screening, interviewed by Madeline Ziniak, National Vice-President, Rogers OMNI Television. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 dollars at the door. The Defence for Children International Canada presents the 13th annual Grant Lowery Lecture on Child Rights: Solutions to Youth Violence ... Ask the Experts.
