There are many factors to consider when you are applying to university. The University of Toronto offers you a unique opportunity to be a part of a college, while attending one of the nations top research universities.
All students applying to the Faculty of Arts & Science (FAS) through the Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) must rank all seven colleges according to the students preference.
St. Michael’s College (SMC) does not require any additional information for students to be considered for admission to the college. Depending on availability of space, students who have not ranked SMC as their first choice may be considered.

The college system within the Faculty of Arts & Science is designed to provide you with a smaller neighbourhood within which you may live in addition to study and socialize. It is your home away from home. St. Michael’s College SMC is one of the largest and oldest of the seven colleges on campus.
We want you to be able to make the most informed choice as to where you would like to spend the next few years of your life.
These are exciting times and we would love for you to join us at SMC. You will be informed of which college you belong to with your offer of admission to the University of Toronto.
