Prof. Paul J. Fedwick retired professor of Patristics, Faculty of Theology, University of St. Michael’s College. Professor Fedwick’s scholarly life and research has been devoted to St. Basil of Caesarea. He is the author of the ten volume (first volume 1993 – tenth volume 2010) Bibliotheca Basiliana Universalis, the goal of which is to preserve for posterity many of the works considered inferior and closely related to this objective is the commitment to salvage for history MSS and books destined to perish long before their time. These works are part of the work of Brepols publishing “Corpus Christianorum “ collection which strives for excellence in the production of comprehensive collections of critical editions, studies and reference works.
