In order to destory Sauron's reign, Frodo must make the arduous journey to the land of Mordor and cast the ring into the fire from which it was forged. Meanwhile he is helped along by three Hobbit friends and a band of brave warriors.

In the 1935's Sanders of the River, considered an embarassment by the actor, Robeson stars as the chief of a small African tribe whose loyalty to his British superiors results in his promotion to head chief of all the tribes in his district. Jericho, made two years later, features Robeson as a World War I deserter who goes to Africa to make a new life for himself.
