For this academic year 2011-12, the University of Toronto, Department of Surgery will conduct a one-year surgical skills core curriculum at the Centre. PGY1 residents from all divisions will participate, as well as residents from the Department of Otolaryngology.
These mandatory sessions take place every Tuesday from 09:00 to 11:00hrs, following the Principles of Surgery lectures. Faculty from all divisions contribute to the sessions as instructors, with an ideal instructor/resident ratio of 1/6.
