What We Do

The Sustainable Infrastructure Group researches the sustainability of urban infrastructure systems. Through modeling, design, case studies and interaction with companies, municipalities and other research groups we endeavour to progress the understanding of the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of urban infrastructure. We employ a holistic approach by studying all types of physical infrastructure (ex. transportation, energy, buildings, water, waste) and by examining the urban system as a whole.
