Opening & closing reflections: Elder Lillian McGregor Introductory remarks: Hon. James K. Bartleman Session Two explores several contemporary approaches to economic development for Aboriginal communities: integrating Aboriginal communities into the mainstream economy through collaboration with national or international corporations; incorporating traditional knowledge and practices into economic development projects; coordinating economic development with projects aimed at strengthening self-government; and, enhancing economic empowerment for Aboriginal women and youth.
