Event Description:

The latest advances in medical research in cloning, genetic engineering, gene therapies, and new reproductive technologies touch upon some of the most fundamental issues about what it is to be human and the sanctity of human life—issues to which religion also speaks. As a society, how do we negotiate the strictures of faith, the demands of science, and laws that may stand in tension with the imperatives of both?
