INFORMATION

The SAJC is a seminar discussing topics determined by our steering committee (and suggestions by seminar participants). The seminar is devoted to understanding the context and interplay of religious traditions in the ancient world. The temporal focus of the seminar will be Fifth Century B.C.E. to Fifth Century C.E.

The colloquium invites research scholars and graduate students from the greater Toronto area to present participate and contribute to our seminar each year.

The topic for 2006-2008 is:
"Transpositions: Authorizing and Composing Ancient Traditions"
