Biographical Sketch
Dr. Chaparro graduated from Escuela de Medicina Juan N. Corpas, Bogota, Colombia, in 1983; she then spend one year in social service at Hospital Santa Clara, Bogota, in the Tuberculosis Program. Between 1984 and 1988 she completed her training in Internal Medicine and Respirology at the Escuela Colombiana de Medicina-Hospital Santa Clara. Bogota, Colombia. In 1993 she came to Canada and worked since with the Toronto Lung Transplant Program as a clinical and a research fellow.
