Objectives of Rounds

Respirology Grand Rounds (RGR) should provide an opportunity for members of the Respirology Community to interact with recognized experts in order to explore the
clinical relevance of current research in an environment that is conducive to learning through discussion and exchange of ideas.

Timing
RGR will take place generally on the third Friday of each month from 8:00-9:00 at TGH Ground Floor Medical Education Conference Room 025/026. Breakfast will be available from 7:30-8:00. Rounds can be videoconferenced to other centers in the Toronto region and beyond, if you wish to have your centre video connected please contact Karen.Forai@wchospital.ca

Format
The rounds should generally provide an up-to-date overview on a specific area (40 minutes) and discussion (20 minutes). The format should follow the current principles of adult learning that include a case-based approach, audience participation and opportunities for discussion and debate.

Target Audience
Members of the Respirology Community including academic and community Respirologists, Respirology trainees, Allied Health Providers and other interested individuals. Contact:karen.forai@wchospital.ca
