This project develops, for public educational and research use, the very large database of information about patrons, their companies and performances that has been assembled during the course of Records of Early English Drama research into provincial playing before 1642.

Our aim is to hyperlink that text-based data with images, maps, graphical interfaces, pull-down menus and other features of the world wide web, so as to allow querying of this information in dynamic new ways.
