Thuan Dao

Dr. Thuan Dao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Faculty of Dentistry University of Toronto. She is also cross-appointed to the University of Toronto Centre for the Study of Pain, and the Wasser Pain Management Center at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Dao is a Past President of the International Association for Dental Research Neuroscience Group, an examiner and a Past Councilor in Prosthodontics at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Dao’s research activities and publications are mainly focused on the pathophysiology and management of orofacial pain and sensory disorders, and their impact on patients’ quality of life. Dr. Dao is engaged in teaching Prosthodontics and orofacial pain at the Faculty of Dentistry.
