If you are a current or former employee of the University:
If you are a unionized staff member, please consult your collective agreement, or check with your union steward to determine whether the matter can be addressed through the grievance process. If not, or if you would like in any case to discuss your problem with us, please contact us.
If you are a non-unionized staff member and your concern is related to your employment at the University, please consult Policies for Confidentials, Policies for Professionals/Managers, or Policies for Research Associates as appropriate to determine whether your concerns are addressed there. The Human Resources Generalist for your area can also advise as to which policies might apply and what steps you should take. To ask who your Human Resources Generalist is, call 416-978-2111. If you are an academic staff member or librarian and your concern is related to your employment at the University, please consult the Manual of Staff Policies for Academics and Librarians to determine whether your concerns are addressed there. The Manual contains policies and procedures for both full- and part-time academic appointments and full- and part-time librarians, along with the Memorandum of Agreement between the Governing Council and UTFA and other personnel policies as they apply to these categories of appointment. There are also Policies for Clinical Staff. The Human Resources Generalist for your area can advise as to which policies might apply and what steps you should take.
