Library

If your concern relates to the library:

Information about the extensive holdings of the numerous libraries that make up the University of Toronto Library system, including their hours of operation, can be found at www.library.utoronto.ca.

The library community comprises different user groups (students, members of the teaching, administrative and library staffs, alumni, registered external members and members of the general public). Information about how to obtain library privileges can be found at www.library.utoronto.ca. All library users must comply with the Library Conduct Regulations.

Who to contact about your concern depends on the campus on which the library in question is located:

  • St. George Campus
  • Mississauga Campus (UTM)
  • Scarborough Campus (UTSC)

ST. GEORGE CAMPUS LIBRARIES

If the problem remains unresolved after you have done this, you should contact the Head of Access and Information at 416-978-2898.
  • For other issues concerning St. George Campus Libraries, contact the Director for Public Affairs and Patron Relations at 416-978-7644.

UTM LIBRARY

  • If you have a disagreement regarding library charges or fines (for books you either returned or did not sign out in the first place), contact the Information & Loans Department at 905-569-4665.
  • For other issues concerning the UTM Library, contact the Chief Librarian at 905-828-5235.

UTSC LIBRARY

  • If you have a disagreement regarding library charges or fines (for books you either returned or did not sign out in the first place), contact the Circulation Department at 416-287-7485.
  • For other issues concerning the UTSC Library, contact the Head Librarian at 416-287-7519.
