Research

My research has included both cancer epidemiology and the epidemiology of osteoporosis. I have conducted studies of risk factors, focusing on reproductive, hormonal, and pharmacological exposures, and habits of nutrition and physical activity, as well as methodological studies relating to response rates. My teaching includes hypothesis development and study design in epidemiology, and ethics in epidemiologic research.
