Research

My research interests are: (a) body composition, energy expenditure and protein biochemistry in clinical conditions, e.g. chronic renal failure, (b) the relationship between skeletal muscle function and nutritional status, e.g. in cystic fibrosis, and (c) nutritional and environmental consequences of feeding practices of aboriginal infants, e.g. iron/lead interaction in the first year of life.
