Summary: This document provides specific instructions on how to configure the Blackberry BIS for use with UTORmail.
Before You Start
Blackberry Internet Services (BIS) setup is a two-step process: You first set up a BIS account, and then you set it up to handle your UTORmail email.
*WARNING! Ensure that your correct UTORmail mailbox server is listed. The BIS service attempts to guess your UTORmail mailbox server but there is no gurantee that the guess is correct.
- In the event of loss or theft of the BlackBerry, the only way to remove UTORmail access from the device is through your BIS account.
- In the event that the device is replaced with another BlackBerry, you can push your UTORmail email settings to the new device using BIS.
- You are be able to configure your account with more options; for example, email signatures can be set up through the portal.
