About Us
The Neurobiology Research Group is housed within the state-of-the-art scientific building: the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research (Donnelly CCBR). This facility creates a unique organization in which research investigators from the Faculty of Medicine, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering have been brought together. Donnelly CCBR is an open, fluid environment that encourages new ways of approaching biological problems by stimulating unconventional interactions among disciplines. Because it is at the centre of the fastest-moving areas in current research, the Donnelly CCBR will continue to evolve.
There are laboratory and teaching facilities on 10 open concept floors for 400 research workers and faculty. The four storey Donnelly Atrium was constructed between the CCBR and the historic Rosebrugh building.
