Standards - General

Applicants admitted into the Master of Management & Professional Accounting program must have:

  • a mid B average in the final year of a four-year bachelor's degree;
  • a satisfactory score on Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
  • a satisfactory score on English Proficiency Test (if required)

Are applicants accepted based only on their academic marks and their GMAT result?

A

No, academic marks and the GMAT are very important but applicants are also assessed on other factors.  We are looking for a combination of academic ability and evidence of leadership ability.

A

All of these requirements are important and are each evaluated independently of each other.

Is it recommended that I take introductory courses in finance and accounting prior to entering the Program?

A

No, the Program begins with the basics and is designed for students that have not studied business before. We only recommend that you refresh your math skills if you have not taken a math course recently.

Does your program accept non-degree students?  I am interested in taking certain courses of your Program to fulfill the requirements of the CA designation.

The MMPA Program does not admit non-degree students.

Work Experience

Do you need to have full-time work experience after completing your bachelor's degree?

A

No, you do not require previous work experience. We do accept students directly from undergraduate studies.
