Room Configurations

The versatility of the room allows several possible room configurations designed to facilitate all types of functions including board meetings, conference proceedings, receptions etc. The Facility has teleconferencing and videoconferencing capabilities built in, and proceedings can be web cast and/or audio recorded.

Reception Style
120 people can be comfortably accommodated in the room for a reception. Tables can be set up along the perimeter for refreshments or displays. A reception can also be held before or after an event in the Facility's adjacent first floor lounge. The lounge is equipped with a ceiling speaker system, allowing music to be played during receptions and breaks.

Boardroom Style
There are 32 modular table pieces creating a traditional boardroom arrangement, with microphones at each seat. These tables can also be configured in a U shape to facilitate working groups. Additional seating can be set up around the boardroom table.

Theatre Style
There are 52 brown leather chairs that can be set up in theatre style, with leather benches along the sides and back of the room that provide additional seating. A maximum of 110 people can be accommodated in this formation.

Panel
A table with microphones can be set up in front of theatre style seating to create an ideal situation for a panel discussion, with a maximum of 8 panelists.

Podium
One or two podiums with microphone are available to facilitate a keynote speaker or presentations with the audience in theatre style. The speaker may also use a wireless microphone.
