[Jun Liu]

Jun Jun was born and raised in China and went to Peking University (1985) for his undergraduate studies. He came to North America in 1990 and obtained a Ph.D. at the Medical College in Wisconsin (1994) and Postdoctoral training at UC-Berkeley (1998). Since July 1998, he has been a faculty member at the University of Toronto and is currently Full Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics.

Blair grew up in small-town Cambridge, ON. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Molecular Biology and Genetics and is currently completing his Ph.D. Blair is working on elucidating the role of Lsr2 as a global transcription factor in M. tb.

Vanessa spent most of her childhood in London, ON. She also completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Microbiology. Vanessa is currently working on her Ph.D. and the goal of her project is to develop a safe and more effective BCG vaccine.
