• A member of the Italian Department since 1976, Dr. Longo Lavorato is a Senior Lecturer whose teaching and administrative duties include language courses at the introductory, intermediate and advanced level, cinema courses, course co-ordination and T.A. supervision.
• In addition to language teaching pedagogy, her research interests include Italian Holocaust Literature, literary adaptation in film and Italian neorealist cinema. She has published bibliographies and reviews in Quaderni d'italianistica, Rivista di studi italiani and The University of Toronto Quarterly. Most recent projects include the preparation of interactive pedagogical software for use in the Multimedia Language Lab, a HUM199Y course on the Holocaust in Italian literature and film, and ROP299Y projects on web-based resources for language students.
