Later Life Learning
Later Life Learning (LLL) is a non-profit educational program for retired individuals. Its current membership is almost 1,400.
A volunteer Board of Directors manages LLL, ensuring that three, 10-week lecture series are offered twice a year in the winter and autumn. The winter 2013 lecture series include 'Myths and Legends of Opera'; 'Frontiers of Medicine' and 'Plays That Shook the World'.
One 10-week lecture series costs $50.
All lectures are presented in Town Hall at Innis College on the northwest corner of St. George Street and Sussex Avenue, one block south of Bloor Street.
LLL was established in 1981 when a number of individuals joined with the University of Toronto to form a group that sponsors university level courses for people in their retirement years.
