Graduation & Convocation Information

Students who intend to graduate must request graduation using the SWS. If you experience difficulty in doing so, please contact the Office of the Coordinator of Student Services and Registrar and complete a Graduation Request Form. A graduation package indicating the degree request and program(s) of study will be mailed to all students who have requested graduation. It is important for you to ensure that your mailing address and UTOR email address on ROSI are correct in order to receive all convocation information. You may update your address at any time using the SWS.

Students are encouraged to review the appropriate degree requirements to ensure that they will qualify for a degree - please refer to one of the audit sheets below. Counselling appointments are available for students who wish to discuss any questions concerning graduation and post-graduation plans.

CR Degree Audit Sheet 2001-2007 - This is for students admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science as of the 2001-2002 Fall/Winter Session.
CR Degree Audit Sheet 1992 - 2000 - This is for students admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science between the 1992 Winter and 2000-2001 Fall/Winter Session.
Pre-CR-Degree Audit Sheet - This is for students admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science before the 1992 Winter Session. These students may opt to graduate with the CR Degree. Please discuss and make your degree change with an Academic Counsellor.

3 October to 9 December 2011
Request graduation on the Student Web Service for June 2012 gradaution.

Late December 2011/January 2012
A confirmation of your graduation request from the Registrar's Office and the Graduating Student Newsletter will be mailed.

Grad photo sessions (particularly for inclusion in Innis College class composite) take place 9-13 January in the Innis Residence Event Room. Graduands must sign up with the studio by visiting the website (www.lassmanstudios.com). Students planning to graduate in November 2012 may also sign up for an individual photo session to be included in the Class of 2012 Class Composite.

February 2012
Check your name on ROSI: The name on ROSI is the name that will appear on your diploma. The last date to submit a name change or correction to your College Registrar is 22 March. If your name requires special characters or a combination of upper and lower case please fill out this form: http://www.convocation.utoronto.ca/Your_Diploma/nameondiploma.htm.

March/April 2012
A Program of Study Assessment (POSA) from each of your program sponsors/departments will be mailed to you.

Please refer to the Convocation Office website for Convocation schedule, ordering regalia and guest tickets for convocation ceremony, or pick up your diploma.
