A bit about the University of Toronto
The University of Toronto is large: it comprises over 70,000 students, thousands of faculty and staff, three campuses, and 35 city blocks in the downtown area alone. Its large size means that it has a tremendous amount to offer, and there is a pluralism to its community that is incomparable in Canada.
The University of Toronto is home to dozens of libraries, including Robarts Library, making its system among the best research facilities in North America.
The University's student services, organizations, activities, and clubs are too numerous to name here. Although the University of Toronto is large, its staff and faculty aim to help. Do not hesitate to reach out and ask for assistance if you are having difficulty tracking down information. Your college registrar's office is a reliable first stop.
The University of Toronto organizes a number of recruitment and information events throughout the admissions cycle. If you are interested in coming to the University, take advantage of as many of these events as you can.
