Award of Excellence
Innis College’s Zannah Matson (HBA 2011 INNIS) has been awarded the 2011 John H. Moss Scholarship – the highest honour for graduating students. The Scholarship recognizes Matson’s academic excellence and her extensive volunteer work. Read more |

Tom Rachman’s Debut Novel Book Launch Held at Innis College
U of T Magazine’s Stacey Gibson sits down with debut novelist Tom Rachman before his Toronto book launch in January at Innis College. The Innis Alumni Network and the Cinema Studies Institute co-hosted Rachman’s The Imperfectionists book launch – welcoming back the Cinema Studies alumnus and best-selling author. Newly Admitted Students Website Launched with Catchy Video by Innis Student Curt Jaimungal
Curt Jaimungal, a fourth-year student in the Math and Physics Specialist Program, wants to be a successful director one day. Jaimungal co-founded University of Toronto Television (UTTV) to make and produce TV shows for U of T audiences. Behind The Scenes, which is a about UTTV, is a fictional show that he writes, directs, and edits himself. Jaimungal’s newest project is the catchy welcome video included on the Newly Admitted Students website launched this year by the Offices of the Registrar and Student Life. View video |

The Innis Review
Editors Kathleen McLeod and Morgan Whalen (both upper-year Innis students) published the 2nd volume of The Innis Review – the College’s academic journal. The Innis Review includes papers written by Innis College students and students enrolled in Innis programs. An electronic copy of the journal can be viewed online |
