Barry Avrich, President, Endeavour Marketing

Barry Avrich (BA 1985 WDW) is a veteran marketing professional and acclaimed filmmaker based in Toronto. Avrich has been the President and CEO of two marketing and communications agencies, has written 3 marketing books and has produced and directed 18 documentary films and television specials for networks in Canada, USA and the UK. In 2009, Avrich was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2010, his production of Caesar and Cleopatra starring Christopher Plummer was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Production. Avrich is a director of the Canadian Opera Company, The Toronto International Film Festival and on the board of governors of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. In 2008, Avrich created and established The Hollywood Theatre at Sick Kids, the world’s first “in hospital” movie theatre.
