CD/DVD Duplication Services

The Licensed Software Office offers volume CD/DVD duplication. We provide excellent prices, good turnaround and volume discounts on orders over 500 and 1000 copies. You can even have your own colour design printed right onto the CD/DVD.

Duplication Options / Order Form

There are several options (see the order form for current prices):

Option 1:

CD / DVD with paper sleeve

The duplicated CD/DVD in a paper sleeve with a transparent window. No printing on the CD/DVD surface.
CD / DVD with slim jewel case

The paper sleeve is replaced by a slim plastic jewel case. A jewel case provides additional protection for CDs/DVDs that are used frequently. We stock jewel cases with a clear front cover. Coloured cases can be ordered if you would like something more "distinctive".
CD / DVD with DVD case

A DVD case provides additional protection for CDs/DVDs that are used frequently and allows more room for accompanying documentation and artwork. The outside of the case has a plastic sleeve to protect any artwork. On the inside, plastic clips hold additional documentation in place.

We stock single CD/DVD cases but other configurations (dual or multiple CDs/DVDs) can be ordered.
Option 2: Mini CD with clear plastic sleeve

The duplicated CD in a plastic sleeve. No printing on the CD surface.
Option 3: Mini CD (hockey rink style) with clear plastic sleeve

Inkjet label

Add your own distinctive design. Specifications for the graphic image are given below.

Design your own CD / DVD label

We use a high-resolution colour inkjet printer. Your images should meet the following specifications:

"Regular" size CD/DVD

Mini CD

Mini CD - hockey rink style
  • 300 - 600 dpi
  • GIF, JPG, PNG, or TIF format
  • Colour or black and white (the printing charge is the same for both)
  • Avoid small font sizes (< 8 point) and dark print on a dark background
  • The central area of the CD/DVD is non-printable. You can construct your design using the full CD/DVD surface--just don't put any important information in the central area because it won't be printed.

Design Services

Our Digital Studio can design the CD/DVD label for you. We've created a handy template [in PDF] you can use to sketch your design. The Digital Studio can also design content and artwork for CD/DVD cases. Contact Amanda Wagner at 416 978-4292 for details.
