Location, Equipment, and Hours of Service
The Information Commons Computer Access Facility (CAF) is located on the first floor of Robarts Library and is available during regular Robarts Library hours.
The computers and printers are provided for University of Toronto students, faculty, and staff. You will need to use your UTORid to access the workstations. Your UTORid appears on your TCard. There are 2 computers which do not require a UTORid login adjacent to the Infostation computers that provide access to the UTL Catalogue and ROSI.
The configuration of each computer is displayed on the screen. Infostation computers provide access to the Library Catalogue, Electronic Resources, World Wide Web, and e-mail. The Internet Office computers provide the same services as well as the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). The Design Space computers provide the same services as the Internet Office computers as well as scanners and image and web page editing software.
