<p>Today, XML inventor Jon Bosak bit a dog 
after an angry confrontation outside the 
Metro Convention Centre.</p>

<p>Bosak, who works for Sun Microsystems, 
denied allegations that he mistook the dog 
for an employee of a rival company.  The dog 
was airlifted to an undisclosed location 
near Seattle for treatment, and is expected 
to make a full recovery.</p>
