New Initiatives

The Institute intends to bring something new to its programs by
enlarging the Visiting Scholars & Statesmen Lectureship programs
which would add a crucial element to the already successful program,
enabling visitors - leading international decision makers and scholars
- to visit the University of Toronto. In addition to presenting public
lectures, the visiting scholars and statesmen would be available to
meet with faculty and students, as well as individuals and
organisations from the community outside the University.
- In an effort to attract outstanding students interested in the
objectives of the HRIC, the Institute is establishing a Scholarship
Fund to support both undergraduate and graduate study.
The HRIC is seeking funding for the expansion of its current
programs and the establishment of scholarships. For more details on
