EMBARK WITH US INTO THE 

Millennium and Beyond 

 

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

The millennium marks the 15th anniversary of the HRIC. It is a time for celebration but more importantly a time to embrace the challenges that lie ahead to ensure that the role of the HRIC remains vital well into the Millennium and Beyond.

CREES’ (Centre for Russian and Eastern European Studies) limited academic partnership with the Central European Universities has excluded potential association with other deserving institutions of higher learning. It is within the mandate of the HRIC not to restrict partnership opportunities in this manner, but to extend its programs and to build partnerships with all deserving institutions of higher education in Hungary and Central Europe.

Our ultimate goal is to establish endowed funds to secure all the HRIC’s programs in perpetuity: (For more details see below:) 

  1. Visiting Statesmen and Scholars Lectureship Program

Goal: $750,000

  1. Conferences, Seminars, Lectures

Goal: $150,000

  1. Grants-in-aid for Publication

Goal: $50,000

  1. Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Fund

Goal: $250,000

  1. Centre for Hungarian and Central European Studies

Goal: $500,000 

- WEB Presence and e-Library

The HRIC is seeking funding for these programs and will recognise major donations by naming the program in honour of the donor.
