With the establishment of its website HRIC is reaching out to the world-wide community of Hungarians and other individuals or institutes with an interest in Central European  and  Hungarian research. Through the setting up and maintenance of a database containing relevant data (name /expertise /publications /method of preferred contact, etc.) the HRIC's goal is to provide a unique forum for researchers where they can 1. promote their publications, 2. make contact with fellow researchers, 3. become more "visible" to those institutions seeking an expert opinion.

In addition, the Institute is planning to establish and maintain through its website an electronic library of copyright-free and copyright-cleared research material (books, articles) that is presently unavailable to the research community (out of print, limited circulation, archival material, etc.)

The HRIC is seeking funding for these programs and will recognise major donations by naming the program in honour of the donor. If you would like more information or have any questions, we would be very pleased to speak with you further. (Please, contact our Office or the Chairman, Dr. L. J. Simon: Tel.: (416) 961-9988 Fax: (416) 966-3058 or via e-mail: drlsimon@home.com )
