4. Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Fund

In an effort to attract outstanding students interested in the objectives of the HRIC — namely, the exploration of Hungary and its neighbours within Central Europe m terms of historic, political, economic and cultural significance — the Institute would like to expand its current scholarship program by establishing an Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Fund. Unlike the need-based government scholarships, the HRIC recognises only excellence in awarding scholarships in both undergraduate and graduate studies. Scholarship opportunities are important in encouraging undergraduate and graduate research, and thus the training of specialists in this region of study. The University of Toronto has agreed to match any donation made to this fund.
