2011 GASP Council Election

To all Physiology students,

The new semester has started and so GASP asks you to support the department of physiology by joining our Graduate Association for Students in Physiology (GASP). This organization plays a role in directly shaping your graduate experiences.

GASP elections will take place September 30th, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the seminar room MSB 3231, pizza will be provided.

Graduate Students' Union (GSU) Representative Represents our course union in meetings and relays information about initiatives and motions regarding the graduate student body.
Sports Coordinator Organize sporting events; such as organized runs and
intramural sports.
Seminar Coordinator   Organize seminars relating to graduate student related issues.
Out Reach Coordinator Organize Let's Talk Science day
Canadian Union of Public Employees Rep Sit on the board of the Union and relay information about how we as graduate students are being supported, vote on issues relating to grad life.

Hospital Reps

Toronto Western Hospital Rep   Relay information regarding student issues at Toronto western.
Sick Kids Rep Relay information regarding student issues at Sick Kids.
St. Michaels Rep Relay information regarding student issues at St. Michaels.
Mount Sinai Rep Relay information regarding student issues at Mt. Sinai.
MARS Representative Relay information regarding student issues at MARS


** On top of these duties each member of the GASP counsel will attend monthly meetings, and will give their input on issues effecting Graduate students. GASP members will also play a role in organizing departmental events, such as: Department of Physiology Christmas Lunch, Lets Talk Science, and Frontiers in Physiology.
