Fahmida Bhabha

Fahmida Bhabha studied photography at York University in Toronto from 1985 to 1987 and later at Ryerson P. I. from 1987 to 1991. She was a photographic assistant for 3 years, then became a freelance photographer in 1992 in Toronto, with clients including the Globe and Mail and Venue magazine. Since 1993 she has worked with the Midwives Collective of Toronto, documenting their work in a series entitled The Baby Catchers.
